2.1. Assist in maintaining basic accounting records for Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
2.2. Process invoices, debit/credit notes, payments, and receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
2.3. Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation and authorization.
2.4. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
2.5. Prepare schedules and reports for management review.
2.6. Ensure accounting records and financial documents are accurate, complete, and properly filed.
2.7. Assist in preparation and submission of statutory returns (e.g. SST, withholding tax, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, where applicable).
2.8. Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and explanations.
2.9. Maintain proper filing, record retention, and traceability of accounting documents.
2.10. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, suppliers, and internal departments as required.
2.11. Perform other accounting or administrative duties as assigned from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance
, or a related field.
At least
1-3 years of relevant accounting experience
. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Fluent in spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiar with accounting software programs including
SQL Accounting
.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Basic understanding of statutory requirements (e.g. SST, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) is an added advantage.
