Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Account Executive to handle daily accounting operations, including invoice processing, payment management, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial matters while maintaining smooth coordination with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Record supplier invoices and manage payment processing.
Prepare payment vouchers and compile all necessary supporting documents.
Upload payment transactions via the bank portal.
Prepare invoices and delivery orders for Cards, Personalization, Components, and Hardware.
Liaise with ASCC staff on personalization details.
Coordinate with freight forwarders on import duty payments, customs declarations, and card shipments to ASCC.
Update and monitor budget records, categorizing payments and expenses.
Track Accounts Receivable (AR) ageing and follow up with customers for early payments.
Record customer payments in the ABSS accounting system.
Process staff claims and prepare related payment vouchers and supporting documents.
Verify medical claim limits with the HR department before processing.
Upload invoices for AmBank and MBSB via the ARIBA ERP system.
Update monthly reports (Cards, Personalization, Hardware).
Perform bank reconciliations based on bank statements.
Prepare and issue invoices and quotations (ASCC to MOD, and MOD to customers).
Perform invoice offsetting between ASCC and MOD.
Prepare and maintain the Statement of Cash Flow.
Generate and submit management reports (FR & JR), monthly financial reports, and Statements of Cash Flow to management.
Send invoices and quotations to customers (e.g., AmBank).
Maintain proper filing and documentation of all financial records.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ABSS, ARIBA, or equivalent).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
