Requirements
Possess a Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
Entry-level position; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated understanding of basic accounting principles.
Familiarity with accounting software packages is essential.
Experience in preparing financial reports is advantageous.
Proficiency in data analysis techniques.
Knowledge of bookkeeping practices.
Ability to perform auditing tasks under supervision.
Experience in account reconciliation.
Basic SQL knowledge is required for data extraction and analysis.
Fluency in Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Perform bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve reconciling items promptly.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and subsidiary ledger postings.
Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze financial data from databases for reporting and analysis purposes.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation and explanations as needed.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing schedules, analyzing variances, and ensuring accurate financial statements.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
