The Admissions, Junior Marketing Executive supports student enrolment initiatives, enhances the school's visibility through marketing efforts, and ensures a smooth and professional admissions experience for prospective families. This entry-level role assists in marketing activities, manages the admissions process, and provides excellent customer service in line with the school's brand and values.
Key Responsibilities
Admissions & Enrolment Support:
Assist in managing the admissions process from enquiry to enrolment, including handling application forms and coordinating campus visits.
Maintain accurate and current records in the admissions system.
Provide prompt follow-ups and courteous communication with prospective families.
Support student placement coordination with academic and administrative teams.
Assist in preparing reports and enrolment statistics as required.
Marketing & Communications Support:
Contribute to the planning and execution of basic marketing campaigns (e.g., flyers, email marketing, social media posts).
Assist in creating marketing collateral such as brochures, social media visuals, and newsletters using tools like Canva.
Support website content updates and contribute to improving online visibility (e.g., SEO, blog posts).
Conduct basic research on market trends and competitor activities.
Events & Promotion:
Assist in organising school events such as Open Days, education fairs, and outreach initiatives.
Represent the school at selected events and support booth setup, registration, and enquiries.
Help coordinate parent engagement initiatives and contribute to building a positive school image.
Customer Service & Front Desk:
Be the first point of contact for admissions-related enquiries through email, phone, and walk-ins.
Provide friendly, informative, and professional responses to prospective families.
Support with conducting school tours and orientation sessions.
Internal Coordination:
Collaborate with internal departments (academic, finance, operations) to ensure a smooth student onboarding process.
Work closely with the Registrar and Admin teams on maintaining accurate student records.
Support senior staff in implementing enrolment and marketing strategies.
Qualifications & Competencies:
Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in admissions, marketing, or customer service preferred (fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may be considered).
Good command of Mandarin (written and spoken). Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia or English is an added advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, customer-focused approach.
Organised, creative, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Canva, social media platforms, and CRM tools is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Other Duties:
Perform any other duties related to admissions and marketing as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
