Responsibilities

Backend Development: Assist in designing, developing, testing, and deploying server-side applications and APIs using programming languages such as PHP, HTML, Javascript, CSS. Database Management: Work with databases (MySQL) to design and optimize data schemas, implement queries, and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. API Integration: Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with user interfaces, ensuring seamless communication between the client and server. Code Maintenance: Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of existing backend systems, including debugging and resolving technical issues. Performance Optimization: Optimize backend applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness, ensuring smooth operation under various conditions. Security Measures: Implement security measures to protect backend systems from vulnerabilities and potential data breaches. Version Control and Collaboration: Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage codebase efficiently and collaborate effectively with the development team. Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in unit testing and assist in quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and functionality of backend services. Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation for backend applications and APIs, aiding in knowledge sharing and project continuity. Learning and Growth: Stay updated with the latest backend development trends, tools, and best practices, and be proactive in enhancing your skill set.

Requirements:

At least a Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent At least 2 years of working experience in the related field Skills: - HTML5 - CSS, SCSS - JS, jQuery, Ajax, Node.js NPM - PHP, Laravel, Composer - MySQL - REST API - XAMPP, Apache, Nginx - Linux (Ubuntu) Able to work independently under minimum supervision. Preferred languages: English, Chinese (Mandarin) & Bahasa Malaysia Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Pay: RM2,636.58 - RM3,500.00 per month
