Junior Business Analyst
Job Description
The Business Analyst supports Life, Group and General businesses (Insurance). The Business Analyst delivers and ensures all enhancements, changes, initiatives are implemented effectively and efficiently.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform information gathering and analysis.
Analyze data to ensure information is correct.
Discuss with business users to understand the Business As Usual (BAU) process.
Collaborating with stakeholders/developers to understand the technical details.
Perform walkthrough of the Functional Specifications together with stakeholders and developers.
Perform Functional Test and release system for UAT when all test scenarios are passed. If there are any defects during Functional Test, these must be cleared before release of system.
Perform product set up in backend systems.
Perform review of defects during UAT and monitor defects until closure.
Escalate issues immediately and recommend solutions for issues raised.
Monitor activities in the relevant areas.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the initiative is on track.
Provide periodic reports on progress, issues and solutions.

Minimum at Bachelor
level in Mathematic or any related fieldMinimum CGPA is 3.50
and above Have strong basic knowledge inRequirement Management:
JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps Have strong basic knowledge inDocumentation:
Microsoft Word , Google Docs , Confluence Have strong basic knowledge inData Analysis:
Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power BI Have strong basic knowledge inModeling & Diagramming:
Microsoft Visio Have strong basic knowledge inDatabase Querying:
SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), MySQL Have strong basic knowledge inPrototyping
: Figma, Adobe XD Have strong basic knowledge inTesting support:
TestRail, Postman (API testing)Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: Up to RM4,000.00 per month
