Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Buyer - Beauty based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to develop ZALORA\xe2\x80\x99s Beauty category. The primary focus in this role is to drive the growth of the assigned brands by being the spokesperson for Zalora. This is a unique, exciting opportunity to influence minds and make an impact at ZALORA.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing clusters of brands within a set portfolio in the beauty category
• End-to-end responsibilities of overseeing brand products go from suppliers to customers in a timely and profitable manner
• Build relationships with the assigned brands by being the go-to person when it comes to supporting their needs at Zalora
• Maintenance in terms of Orders, Product and Brand Information and Promotions
• Liaise and build strong relationships with various stakeholders
• Source new brands and products in line with the category strategy through knowledge and expertise of the market to further enhance our reputable beauty offering
• Negotiate the best possible terms with suppliers i.e. margin, trade discounts, markdown support and ensure that buying decisions are based on a sound commercial framework to drive sales and profits\xe2\x80\x8b
• Handle various sets of daily, weekly and monthly business reports to improve visibility of brands performance to senior management
• Handling ad hoc projects independently as required

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of experience
• Excellent English skills required
• Bachelor in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field
• Experience studying and/or working abroad preferred
• Exposure in the e-commerce industry is preferred
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional time management skills
• Advanced working knowledge of Excel
• Good to have: Cantonese Speaking
