Overview

We are looking for a motivated

Junior Cyber Security Engineer

to support our security operations and help strengthen our overall security posture. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are eager to grow, learn, and work across different areas of cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in monitoring security events, alerts, and incidents. Support vulnerability scanning, assessment activities, and follow-up remediation. Help maintain security tools, dashboards, and documentation. Participate in incident response activities under senior guidance. Conduct basic threat analysis and report findings. Assist in enforcing security policies, standards, and best practices. Coordinate with internal teams to support security operations and improvements.

Requirements

6 months to 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security support. Basic understanding of SIEM tools, endpoint security, network security, or vulnerability management. Familiarity with security concepts such as threats, risks, and incident lifecycle. Strong willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Relevant certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar) are an added advantage.
