Job Description

Contribute to product enhancement through various planned initiatives/ activities Develop expertise on the base product, the processes and tools Contribute to creating best practices for the country and collaborates with other Data Science team units (local & global) Engage with SMEs on new methodology and new tools Be actively engaged and participate in engagement activities of the team

Purpose of the role:

Execute Retail Establishment Survey (RES) Design, RES Validation, Universe Estimation, Universe Update and Panel Sample Design, as per the plan and with no quality escapes Provide ideas, Innovate and automate processes and tools to bring efficiency and eliminate legacy challenges Learn and utilize the global tools to ensure standardization of process Participate and contribute to the testing of tools and documentation of processes Automation and development of solutions for existing processes with supervision Engage and align with stakeholders on client queries and requirements of new estimates and designs

Qualifications:

P- 0-2 years of work experience in the data analysing position


E- Domain expertise in at least one area: Sampling, Statistics Modelling, Survey Design Practices


E- Bachelor's degree or above in Statistics, Operations Research, or Econometrics with outstanding analytical expertise and strong technical leadership


E- Proficient in Python (or R)


P- Knowledge of SQL and working with large-scale databases


P- Experience in some or all of statistical modelling, variance estimation, trend analyses, indirect estimation, data aggregation techniques, automation, generalization.


E - Must be a team player


E - Excellent skills in English speaking and writing and intermediate Chinese (speak and read)
