Job Description

We are looking for an energetic Fashion Designer (Fresh Graduate) who is a fast learner, detail-oriented, and proficient in using our in-house fashion design tools. The candidate must understand the fundamentals of pattern making and be able to adapt designs for various types of apparel such as jerseys, uniforms, jackets, and t-shirts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop apparel designs based on jobsheets and customer requirements.

2. Effeciently operate fashion design software and tools used in our factory.

3. Prepare template artwork and size chart accurately before production.

4. Ensure all designs follow the company's standard templates and patterns.

5. Organise and update design files to prevent production errors.

6. Adapt quickly to new workflows and management instructions.

7. Work with multiple apparel patterns (jerseys, shirts, jackets, pants, sportwear,etc) to meet customer demands.

8. Assist in designing, sourcing, and developing merchandise for each season.

9. Collaborate with textile designers to create and modify patterns and designs.

10. Support the design process from concept to final styling.

11. Supervise the creation of samples and ensure the final products meet quality standards.

12. Research seasonal fashion trends, styles, and color themes to keep designs relevant.

13. Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and participate in design development.

14. Prepare and present cut patterns, samples, and supportive documents for photoshoots.

15. Work closely with the creative director and team members to ensure the successful execution of designs.

Requirements:

1. Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

2. Proficient in design software and willing to learn factory-specific-tools.

3. Basic knowledge of pattern making & apparel construction.

4. Fast learner, able to work under pressure, and detail-oriented.

5. Creative, flexible, and passionate about sportwear & custom-made apparel.

6. Portfolio (if available) will be an added advantage.

Additional Information

1. Work location: Semenyih, Selangor

2. Job Type: Full-time and Permanent

3. Salary range: RM 2200 - RM 2400
