Job Description


RESPONSIBILITIES Manage daily cash balances and Administration. Keeping track of all payments and expenditure, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc. Reconciling process work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. Maintaining historical records. Paying employees by verifying expense report and preparing pay checks. Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance. Preparing analyses of account and producing monthly reports. Continuing to improve the payment process. Willing to do manual account calculation/reports etc. Maintain accounts system and banking relationships. Prepare and present financial reports, including for submissions to relevant government entities. Work with executives and business heads to prepare budgets and track profit/loss performance by business unit and on consolidated basis. Liaise with other business units on a range of issues relating to finances. Arrange and liaise with company secretaries of other Ssquad\'s offices for financial audits and tax filings. Bank money and cheques received, and issue receipts as requested or needed. Maintain and transfer money between bank accounts as required. Payment of invoices and fees as required or otherwise instructed. Manage payroll and EPF matters. Recommend and maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over Finance activities. Any other tasks as may be assigned to you from time to time. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time for the benefit of the Reporting Manager. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION Minimum 1-2 years\' experience in Accounting, Bookkeeping, and other related areas. Possess Bachelor\'s Degree in related disciplines such as Accounting/Finance or Professional Qualification (ACCA/MIA/MICPA.). Familiar with the Malaysia Accounting Standard and Income Tax Act. Experience in liaising with and managing international clients. Fluent in English and local language. Strong attention to detail and willing to learn. Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data. Able to work under pressure and is flexible with working schedule. AIDED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Strong knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations. A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles. Responsible to prepare monthly reconciliation, account receivable and account payable. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all financial information. Able to handle full set accounts, account reconciliations, financial reports, management report, financial analysis and regulatory reporting. Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Perform and successfully completion of financial audits. Analyze financial statement and identify audit-related issues. Prepare draft tax computation and ensure adequate provision of tax liabilities. Ensure timely completion of audits and submission of reports to the audit partner.
