Job Description

A. Halal Certification & Compliance

Assist in the

application, renewal, and maintenance

of halal certification with JAKIM or other relevant authorities. Ensure all raw materials, suppliers, and production processes comply with halal standards. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of halal certificates, ingredients, and suppliers.

B. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare and update halal documentation, records, and reports. Support internal audits and halal inspections by JAKIM or other regulatory bodies. Assist in responding to any non-compliance findings and implementing corrective actions.

C. Coordination & Communication

Liaise with suppliers to obtain halal-related documentation and declarations. Coordinate with production, purchasing, and quality teams to ensure halal requirements are met. Provide assistance during halal committee meetings and halal awareness training sessions.

D. Training & Awareness

Assist in conducting

halal awareness programs

for staff. Support the Halal Executive in educating employees on halal compliance requirements.

E. Administrative Support

Assist the Halal Executive and QA team with

ad-hoc administrative tasks

such as filing, data entry, scheduling, and report preparation.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Halal Management, or a related field.

Experience:

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience in halal compliance or food manufacturing is an advantage.

Basic knowledge of

Strong organizational and documentation skills. Good communication skills in

English

and

Bahasa Malaysia

. Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn. Ability to handle

ad-hoc tasks

and support multiple stakeholders when required.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
