Uniplan Projects (M) Sdn Bhd Junior Interior Designer Malaysia About Uniplan Projects Established in 1988, Uniplan provides interior design, project consultancy and design and build services to commercial and residential clients. Uniplan is certified by the \xe2\x80\x9cConstruction Industry Development Board of Malaysia\xe2\x80\x99 and is a member of FIABCI, The International Real Estate Federation. Job Responsibilities & Scope Junior Designers:
- Collaborate with senior interior designers to develop design concepts for projects.
- Create visual representations of design ideas using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and other graphic design software
- Assist with the creation of interior design plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct research on materials, furniture, and lighting fixtures to support the design process.
- Prepare presentation materials such as sketches, renderings, and mood boards.
- Assist in the selection of finishes, fabrics, and color palettes for projects.
- Attend client meetings and take notes to help inform design decisions.
- Participate in the coordination of project timelines and budgets.
- Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and contractors.
- Perform administrative tasks such as organizing project files and maintaining project schedules.
- Participate in site visits to ensure designs are implemented according to plans.
- Diploma, Advanced Diplomas in interior design.
- Previous experience in interior design or related fields.
- Strong design skills are essential with good eye for color, composition, and typography.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Studio Max, Adode Photoship, Sketch-up and AutoCAD.
- Must be collaborative and self-motivated.
- Ability to communicate their ideas clearly to clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage their time effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Languages: English /Mandarin
- Must have transportation and ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
- Pulau Tikus: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
