Description and Requirements
Summary - Assist in maintaining corporate IT infrastructure and end-user systems while performing basic operational tasks under engineers' guidance. This role provides structured training and serves as an ideal entry point into IT for candidates with minimal experience. Additionally, this role involves assisting support database operations focusing on PostgreSQL and Milvus vector database, including performance monitoring, backup/restore, and database-specific tasks to improve service quality and stability.
Core Responsibilities
1. Desktop Support
o Troubleshoot hardware/software issues for employee devices (PCs/printers/video conferencing)
o Deploy OS and office software (Windows/macOS/Office)
o Manage user accounts and permissions (basic AD operations)
2. System Monitoring
o Perform basic status checks for servers/network devices (CPU/memory/disk)
o Document monitoring alerts and escalate anomalies
o Maintain IT asset inventory (devices/IPs/software licenses)
3. Operational Assistance
o Support engineers in patch deployment and backup operations
o Organize technical documentation and knowledge base (SOPs/FAQs)
o Manage IT consumables stock (cables/adapters/accessories)
4. Database Operations Support (PostgreSQL / Milvus)
o Assist with daily maintenance and performance monitoring of PostgreSQL and Milvus databases, collecting and analyzing health metrics
o Support basic backup and recovery operations of PostgreSQL and Milvus databases
o Participate in the compilation of database technical documents and Knowledge Base(SOPs)
Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Electronics
• Proficient in basic Windows troubleshooting (BSOD/network connectivity/driver installation)
• Understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals (IP/subnet/DNS)
• Ability to interpret English technical interfaces (system prompts/error codes)
• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL and Milvus database concepts, able to understand simple SQL commands and vector database basics
• Familiarity with database backup, restore, and basic monitoring tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on PC hardware assembly experience
• CompTIA A+ or ITIL V4 Foundation certification
• Basic scripting skills (Batch/PowerShell)
• Proactive service mindset
• Internship or practical experience related to PostgreSQL and Milvus operations preferred
• Basic PostgreSQL database or vector database certification is a plus (e.g., PostgreSQL PGCA)
• Candidates with Chinese language proficiency are preferred.
