Job Description

Primary Objectives

Manage and implement infrastructure projects (e.g. server upgrade, Technology Refresh, network enhancement, endpoint rollouts) according to stakeholder expectations and established KPIs.

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with bank's infrastructure standards and policies

Provide direction and guidance to project teams, including infrastructure engineers, vendors, IT Security and IT operations

Key Responsibilities

Engage with the end users, Infrastructure and the Technical team members directly in relation to the their roles in the project activities

Manage Infrastructure project stakeholders - Project Steering Committees, Project Working Groups, etc.

Manage interdependencies between projects

Coordinate vendor engagement for hardware/software procurement, provisioning and to ensure smooth implementation of project activities

Develop the Project Plan and manage end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects, including scope, schedule, cost, and quality.

Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Network, and Data Center teams

Ensure infrastructure requirements (e.g., sizing, compatibility, network bandwidth) are clearly defined and addressed

Manage changes to existing infrastructure with minimal disruption to business operations.

Ensure completion of technical documentation (e.g., network diagrams, runbooks, configurations).

Ensure timely delivery of key project milestones and planned deliverables

Identify, monitor & mitigate project risks, resolve project issues in a timely manner

Ensure proper facilities and resources are available as per project requirements

Monitor and track closely the project progress to ensure activities are kept on-time

Review project progress and financial matters with PSC on regularly basis

Ensure timely and accuracy in the reporting of project statuses to relevant parties

Ensure project governance, processes and templates are followed and complied with

Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and infrastructure risk guidelines.

Requirements

Proven experience managing IT Infrastructure projects in the Banking/Finance sector (e.g. data center migration, cloud, virtualization, server/storage/network upgrades)

Proficient project management experience with 1-2 years in managing IT Infra projects

1- 2 years FI experience / relevant experience in IT

CAPM / relevant IT Security / Infra certification

Familiar with enterprise IT infrastructure technologies (e.g., Windows/Linux servers, storage, networking, firewalls, Active Directory, virtualization, cloud).

Experience working with 3rd party vendors and service providers

Strong understanding of infrastructure project lifecycle, change management, and operations..

Ability to lead cross-functional infrastructure teams and manage dependencies across systems.

Ability to lead, manage and work effectively with various teams of people across the organization to achieve the objectives of the project

Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,862.43 - RM5,675.71 per month
