Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Mainframe Developer to join our Cards - Application Development Management team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing card processing applications on the Mainframe / Cardlink platform. The role requires hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, and CICS within a VSAM database environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, modify, test, and implement card processing applications on the Mainframe (ZOS) platform.
Write and optimize COBOL programs, JCL scripts, and CICS transactions for application development and support.
Work with VSAM for data storage and retrieval, ensuring efficient data handling.
Troubleshoot and debug production issues related to card processing applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, testers, and infrastructure teams, to ensure smooth development and deployment.
Follow SDLC best practices, including documentation, version control, and code reviews.
Support system enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements as required.
Requirements:
Experience: 3 years of experience in Mainframe / Cardlink application development.

Database: VSAMo
Operating System: Mainframe ZOS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
