Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and proactive

.NET Core Junior Developer

to join our growing development team. You will play a key role in supporting the modernization of existing applications, enhancing system security, and contributing to the migration from .NET Framework 4.x to .NET 6. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in updating and modifying applications to ensure

security compliance

based on software scan reports. Support efforts to

migrate legacy applications

from .NET Framework 4.x to

.NET 6

. Conduct testing and qualification of applications to ensure stability and compatibility on the latest .NET versions. Contribute to the development of a

gateway/middleware layer

to enable seamless client transition to a new converged architecture. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Solution Architects. Maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the .NET ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or final-year student/intern with relevant experience). Knowledge of

C# and .NET Core/.NET 6

development. Understanding of REST APIs, web services, and integration practices. Basic experience with

SQL Server

or other relational databases. Familiarity with

version control systems

(e.g., Git). Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced development environment.

Nice to Have:

Exposure to

legacy .NET Framework (e.g., 4.7.2)

. Understanding of application

security best practices

and secure coding principles. Experience with

middleware architecture

or system integration projects. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,999.00 per month
