Job Description

Support the end-to-end purchasing process for packaging materials, decorative items, and event supplies. Create and issue purchase orders (POs), monitor deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods for warehouse operations. Liaise with local and international suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure product quality and availability. Maintain accurate inventory and cost tracking for procurement items, working closely with the warehouse and fulfilment teams. Assist in sourcing new materials or product concepts for seasonal campaigns, events, and product development. Coordinate cross-border purchasing and logistics for Malaysia and Singapore warehouses. Work closely with the Operations, Creative, and Finance teams to ensure purchasing aligns with project timelines and budgets. Prepare periodic reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost efficiency. Undertake any other related ad-hoc duties as assigned by the manager.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. At least 1 year of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (preferably in e-commerce, retail, or floral/gift industry). Good communication and negotiation skills. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple purchase requests and deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, math's logic, experience with inventory systems is a plus. Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment. Well versed in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Candidates who can speak in other languages will be an added advantages)

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
