JOB VACANCY: JUNIOR QA/QC FOOD TECHNOLOGIST

LOCATION: BATU GAJAH, PERAK

Roles and Responsibilities

To support in ensuring daily quality and food safety operation within the departments. Assists in managing internal and external Food Safety, Quality and Halal Audits to ensure implementation in accordance with international standards, market and customer requirements. Support Line troubleshooting and provide feedback to Production Department on all quality and food safety aspects. Raises non-conformance and communicates directly with relevant departments and suppliers and follow up with closure of non-conformance report. Coordinate with production department for equipment calibration. To ensure pest control management system is in place and trend in monitored. Promote quality and food safety culture and awareness through communication and training (GMP,HACCP etc) Continuously seek opportunities on cost savings without impacting quality of analysis. To be part of Food Safety Managements Team in addressing quality and food safety related issues/ challenges. Additional jobs will be assigned by the superior or management as and when necessary.

Qualification

Must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Food Science/Food Technology or equivalent 1-2 year working experience as QA/QC in food industry. Knowledgeable in food safety quality management system e.g.: FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP & etc. Responsible and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
