Job Description

Requirement :

Bachelor's in Quantity Surveyor, or a related field. A minimum 1 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor. Assist with various Quantity Surveying tasks, including preparing quotations, estimating costs, supporting budgeting, tracking procurement, helping with contract administration, monitoring progress, and assisting in final account preparation. Also support filing, documentation, and project cost control activities under the guidance of the Senior. Passionate and energetic with expertise in landscape cost estimation, budgeting, and contract management.

Responsibilities :

Reporting to Senior Quantity Surveyor:

Assist and provide regular updates to the Quantity Surveyor on Pre- and Post-Contract matters; assist in the preparation and submission of quotations and tender documents; support monthly progress claims and payment certifications; and address any emerging issues or risks that may impact project timelines or costs.

Tender Process (Pre-Contract):

Assist in the tender process from the receipt of invitations to the submission of all required documents, in accordance with instructions from the Quantity Surveyor. Keep the Quantity Surveyor informed on the progress of tender preparation and promptly highlight any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the process.

Contract Award (Post-Contract):

Help finalize the Letter of Award (LOA) by preparing the Rationalized Rate (ROR) based on the agreed amount, as instructed by the Quantity Surveyor. Check for any differences between the LOA, contract documents, and drawings, and report any issues. Provide information to the Quantity Surveyor to help with budget and progress tracking.

Networking:

Build and maintain strong relationships with both Internal and External Project Teams involved in project matters to encourage collaboration and support.

Other Responsibilities:

Take on any extra duties assigned by the Senior Quantity Surveyor and assist the team as needed.

Working hour

:

8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Monday to Friday)
