Job Details:

1. Cash Management & Liquidity Monitoring

Track daily cash positions and ensure optimal liquidity. Manage bank accounts (opening, closing, signatories, structures). Optimize working capital and minimize idle cash.

2. Financial Risk Management (FX, Interest Rate, Equity, Counterparty)

Identify, assess, and monitor financial risks, especially FX exposure. Develop and implement hedging strategies (e.g., forward contracts, options). Monitor counterparties and prepare financial risk reports.

3. Funding & Investment

Manage short-term investments and surplus funds. Evaluate and recommend funding instruments (bank loans, trade finance). Ensure compliance with debt covenants and lender reporting.

4. Banking & Financial Institution Relationships

Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions. Negotiate fees, service agreements, and credit facilities. Evaluate banking services and propose improvements.

5. Treasury Operations & Systems

Oversee daily treasury operations for accuracy and efficiency. Continuously improve treasury processes and controls. Use and optimize Treasury Management Systems (TMS).

6. Compliance & Internal Controls

Establish and maintain internal controls for treasury activities. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and BNM (Bank Negara Malaysia) guidelines.

7. Reporting & Analysis

Prepare reports: cash flow, FX exposure, investment performance, debt schedules. Provide insightful analysis for management decision-making.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years in treasury management or corporate finance (Malaysian market focus).

Knowledge:

Cash management, financial risk management (FX), investment strategies. Malaysian financial markets, banking practices, BNM and FX administration rules.

Skills:

Proficient in Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and advanced Excel. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. High accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

Other Requirements:

Must travel at least once a quarter. Able to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
