Salary: RM4,000 to RM5,000 SummaryJr. Site Electrical Engineer will manage and deal with all the site related electrical and other activities with direct responsibility and/or assist other responsible Sr. Site Electrical Engineer and manager(s) inclusive, but not limited to, site administration, preliminary & general related issues, coordination with civil activities, electrical installation works, materials management, sub-contractor management, contract management, schedule management, resources management, site procurement, quality control/management, Environment/Health/Safety (EHS) management, regulatory and permitting, testing and commissioning, Site Documentation, handover of project site to customer after commissioning.Roles and Responsibility:

• Being the alternative point of contact of client at site besides manager(s) and Sr. Site Electrical Engineer for all related activities at site such as civil interface, preliminary & general, electrical installation, material management, sub-contractor management, scope/contract management, schedule management, resources management, quality management, EHS management, regulatory and permitting, testing and commissioning, Site Documentation and handover of site to client.
• Reports to Sr. Site Electrical Engineer and ultimately to Site Manager and assist site manager to execute and manage all the site activities mentioned above to deliver the project on time, within budget and meet customer\'s quality expectation.
• Assist Sr. Site Electrical Engineer, Site Manager and Project Manager in Project Management, Managing Scheduled Activities, Project Budget Management, Coordination of Procurement/Manufacturing/FAT/Shipment/Delivery/Site Erection/Testing& Commissioning, Claim Management, Resources Management, Document Management.
• Assist Sr. Site Electrical Engineer, Site Manager and Project Manager in coordinating and attending internal stakeholder meetings, site EHS Meetings, Coordination Meetings, Subcontractors\' meetings and meetings with client.
• Assist Sr. Site Electrical Engineer, Site Manager and Project Manager in preparing Monthly Progress Report; coordinate with various parties and compile Monthly Quality Reports, NCR, Civil Progress Reports, Site Photos, Routine Test Reports (RTR), Site Acceptance Test (SAT)Reports, Monthly EHS Reports; receive/issuance of correspondences.
• Establish good relationship with clients, vendors, suppliers, site team and other professionals to ensure smooth progress and delivery of project deliverables.
• To assist EHS Manager and/or Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) to ensure a safe, healthy and positive work environment.
• To assist Sr. Site Engineer and Site Manager to coordinate with Engineering department to supervise the execution of the design at site with construction drawings release by engineering department such as drawings for plant general arrangements, power single line diagrams, cable block diagrams, instrumentation loop diagrams, P&IDs, control system architecture drawings, and cable, instrument and I/O schedules, etc.
• Liaising with clients and other engineers in engineering department to ensure projects are completed to specifications.
• Evaluate and advise on site electrical related design changes with close liaison with engineering department before actual implementation.
• A working knowledge of cost estimating, electrical code, field investigation, report and memo writing and other similar electrical engineering related tasks.
• Good understanding and implementation of Power distribution and essential power systems including Substations, transformers, metering, primary & secondary switchgear, low and medium voltage, backup power generation, uninterrupted power systems, battery systems, grounding, etc.
• Assist Project Manager to prepare reports, proposals, and tender/bid submissions, budgets, project plans and other supporting documentation as required.
• Under supervision of Sr. Site Electrical Engineer and/or Site Manager, working with Owner and internal stakeholders to expeditiously resolve disputed during installation.
• To establish and maintain a good documentation system, keeping and updating up to date documents.
• To organize, manage and assist in converting site mark-up drawings to As-Built drawings.
• To assist in preparing Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals consists of As-Built Drawings, Routine Test Reports, Site Acceptance Test Report, Instruction & Maintenance Manuals, Equipment Database, etc as final documents to handover to client.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent from recognized university.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience including at least 2 years of practical experience worked at site as site engineer preferably in Electrical High Voltage Substation.
• Experience in all aspects of power system design including power distribution, low and medium voltage, backup power generation, uninterrupted power systems, battery systems, grounding, etc.
• Knowledge and experience of building services (air-condition system, lighting system, AC distribution system), water circulation system, firefighting system and systems integration.
• Professional Qualification for recognized institution and/or professional body will be an added advantage. Experience in Electrical Engineering Design will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Substation testing and commissioning will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Microsoft Words, Excel, Power Point, etc).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent motivational skills and multitasking abilities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong leadership abilities and organizational skills will be an added advantage.
