Job Description

Position: Junior Software Tester Salary: Before confirmation RM 3,000 Working Mode: On-site during probation (hybrid/remote after confirmation) Working hours: 8:15am - 5:30pm Location: Mid Valley City

• Collaborate with the development team to understand customer requirements and project specifications.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects, bugs, and performance issues.
• Document and report software defects, using a bug tracking system, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability and integrity of existing software functionality.
• Collaborate with team members to improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software design and implementation.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in software testing and share knowledge with the team.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing concepts.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies, techniques, and tools.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., React, PHP, Python) and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Shell scripting).
• Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Required to converse in Mandarin

Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM2,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mid Valley City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
