Job title: Junior Technical Sales Assistant Location: Kuala Lumpur Position level: Junior
Your goal is to drive growth in sales by focusing on farming business. Potential to achieve higher sales volume due based on aggressive business plan in place.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for product & Services Sales in Asia including AGL, VDGS and Services related portfolio
First point of contact for selected customers for all related technical and commercial queries. Assisting Sales Director for joint sales mission from Access to Closing
Build a realistic opportunity and pre-sales activities to turn them into orders in timely manner
Maintain active pipeline and provide effective forecast to the operation team
Back-office tasks and support management duties
Collaborate with the execution teams and supporting business functions to ensure excellent customer satisfaction
Develop long term account strategy to become partner of the airports in Asia region
Intrapreneur spirit with drive and creativity to bring sustainable growth to the company
Perform site survey, customer visit, and to collect time to time install base data/market intelligent
May perform other duties of a technical nature, as required, to complete assigned tasks
Relationships/Stakeholders: Internal:
Direct reporting line to Regional Sales Director
Close collaboration with project, service, legal, finance, engineering, and operations colleagues
Work closely with business line to strengthen portfolio leadership position in the region
External:
Airport /decision making team
Airport contractors
Airport consultants
Agents & Distributors

Timely Business status reporting (Order Intake, Revenue, Margin) and ability to follow through long business cycle
Strong team player, open-minded, sensitive to culture diversity
Contract negotiation skills with support of legal and finance team

Experience/Skills:
2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in bidding/tendering environment or in channels sales, or business development or in airport/airlines operation function
Technology Project sales & Strong system integration (SI) knowledge
Preferably experience in aviation/airport sector
Strong analytical skills and excellent knowledge of MS Office
Constant travelling around ASIA is required
Regional sales experience, preferably in supporting Chinese speaking countries
Knowledge of salesforce will be added advantage
Education/Certifications:
Degree/Master in Engineering/Science/Technology/Software/Aeronautical or equivalent preferred.
Languages:
English (well-written, read and speaking)
Mandarin (well-written, read and speaking)
Malay (well-written, read and speaking)
Other languages will be added advantages
Competencies:
Customer champion, sense of urgency and able to learn independently
Ability to stay focused on the overall objective and able to operate under time pressure
