About our group:The Alum Equipment Group plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the production process at Alum. Process IDOD Alum to cut alum blank into chamfered blank with specified dimension. Process Grind Alum to removed alum blank thickness follow blank thickness group to get target thickness 1252.2um. The key functions of this group are Sustaining Machine Function, Preventive Maintenance & Process Enhancement & Development.About the role - you will:Sustain Tools

• Regularly inspect and maintain machinery to prevent breakdowns
• Conduct routine checks, lubrication, and adjustments
• Address any issues promptly to minimize disruptions
• Conduct Preventive Maintenance
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
• Clean, calibrate, and replace parts as needed
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities

Perform Overhaul and Repair

• Perform major overhauls and repairs on equipment
• Diagnose complex issues and implement solutions
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers as required
• Ensure timely resolution of issues to minimize production delays

Prepare Report Writing

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
• Prepare detailed reports on equipment performance, repairs, and improvements
• Communicate findings to supervisors and management
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Work Environment:

• The role primarily is in a manufacturing or production environment
• May be exposed to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
• Required to follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear

About you:

• Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with industrial machinery and tools
• Adaptable to changes and work environment, as well as willingness to learn
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a positive in effective collaboration with cross functions departments
• Knowledge and skills in maintaining process and utility equipment
• Deep understanding of process and utility equipment maintenance
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Words, Excels, Power Point) for reporting
• Able to work in long working hour (if-needed), shift work and overtime
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Your experience includes:

• Certificate and Diploma Holders with 1 to 3 years of hands-on working background in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, preferably in handling Grinding and Grind Wash machine. Fresh Diploma holders of relevant Engineering field are welcomed to apply
• Good Machine Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting
• Effective Machine Maintenance and Machine spare
• Handling Machine Spare Part Servicing and Calibration
• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)s, inverters, and instrumentation (an added advantage)
