Prepare surfaces for painting (e.g., scraping, sanding, patching holes, caulking cracks). Apply primers, sealers, and finishing coats using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. Mix and match paint, stain, and other finishes to achieve desired color and consistency. Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect adjacent areas. Inspect painted surfaces for uniformity and smoothness; perform touch-ups as necessary. Clean tools and equipment after use and maintain a tidy work area. Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain inventory of paint supplies and request materials as needed. Collaborate with other construction or renovation team members when necessary.
