Hi there! We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Junior Customer Service

to join our NVOCC team. Fresh graduates and candidates with little to no experience are welcome.

Male candidates are preferred.

The role involves coordinating shipments, assisting customers, and ensuring smooth cargo operations, specifically

handling trade with the USA and Canada

Customer Service Scope - NVOCC (Seafreight USA/CAN Trade)

1. Documentation & Booking

Handle customer inquiries and provide freight quotations. Manage booking requests with carriers and overseas agents Communicate with carriers/agents to follow up on space confirmation. Key in and update booking details in the system accurately and timely. Ensure timely notification to customers on vessel delays, rollovers, or schedule changes.

2. Coordination & Communication

Liaise with shippers, consignees, overseas agents, and carriers. Provide sailing schedules, and shipment updates. Act as the main contact point for customers on shipment status. Attend weekly meetings and provide updates on progress.

3. Shipment Handling

Track cargo from origin to destination and resolve any issues (e.g., delays, errors).

4. Customer Support & Problem Solving

Provide timely responses to customer inquiries and complaints. Assist in claims handling for lost/damaged cargo (with insurance or carrier). Suggest solutions to improve shipment flow and service efficiency. Build and maintain good relationships with customers for long-term cooperation.

6. Compliance & Reporting

Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, customs requirements, and carrier policies. File required reports (e.g., AMS, ENS, VGM, manifest submissions). Maintain proper records for audits and internal reporting. Ensure internal SOPs are followed and highlight any gaps for improvement.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
