Preventive maintenance on machines and equipment as well as responding to emergency machine breakdown throughout the plant. \xc2\xb7 Involvement with new design, installation and movement of existing machines. \xc2\xb7 Overhaul and repair of machines and equipment. \xc2\xb7 Ensuring machines and equipment on site are safe, working efficiently and fit for purpose. \xc2\xb7 Dayshift working initially but must be prepared to work shift, work overtime and respond to call outs as required in line with the remit of the post. \xc2\xb7 Work effectively with Engineer and others by sharing ideas in a constructive, positive manner for support their job when necessary. \xc2\xb7 Maintain job commitment for safety rules & regulation, comply by DOSH. Report all incident & accident happen to Maintenance Manager and Safety Executive. \xc2\xb7 Support night; off/rest day time by providing telephone support and assistance, as necessary. \xc2\xb7 Identification of defective or worn mechanical components or equipment, repair/ replacement of worn/ faulty components or equipment, and modifications. \xc2\xb7 Any other duties as required and assigned by the Management. \xc2\xb7 Ensure safety, 5S, and Good Manufacturing Practice
