Kafka Developer

Job Description
- Minimum 3 years of experience in kafka development.
- Cloud technologies (AWS and GCP)
- Streaming Technologies (we use Kafka, SNS & SQS)
- At least one of Python, Java, C#, C++
- Frameworks such as Flask or Django
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (we use Splunk, App Dynamics and CloudWatch)
- Knowledge on Confluent Kafka ( Confluent kafka connector)
- Schema registry (Avro, protobuf, Json)
- Having knowledge on Kafka streams is additional benefit
- Error handling/Dead letter queue concept
- Knowledge on Unix shell commands would be required in debug or back end operation in performing different action items on Kafka broker
- Experience on using any Kafka monitoring tool for data processing/consumer lags if any
- Additional advantage if one has idea on postgresql, Amazon DynamoDB and AWS
