JOB VACANCY: HEAD OF DEPARTMENT

Location: Dato Onn, Johor Bahru | Double Happiness Asia Foods
Salary: RM2,200 - 3,200+ (Allowance + OT + Bonus)
Working Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM | Saturday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Overview:

The HOD is responsible for managing and optimizing daily business operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and alignment with the company's strategic objectives. This role supports cross-functional coordination, drives continuous improvement, and upholds high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

Oversee and streamline day-to-day operations to ensure business functions run smoothly and effectively.

Process Optimization

Identify gaps or inefficiencies in workflows and implement improvements to boost productivity and reduce operational costs.

Cross-Department Coordination

Collaborate with production, packaging, retort, store and management department to ensure seamless operations and goal alignment.

Compliance & Reporting

Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations. Prepare regular operational reports and updates for management review.

Resource Management

Manage and monitor inventory, equipment, and operational tools to ensure optimal usage and availability.

Problem Solving

Proactively address operational issues and provide timely solutions to minimize disruptions and improve efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

Age 18-35 years old Malaysian citizens only Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for efficiency. Good communication and interpersonal abilities to coordinate across departments. Ability to adapt quickly, take initiative, and work both independently and collaboratively. Own transport required
