Operators are responsible for the safe and responsible operating of the plant and equipment to produce products within specification in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with company policies, procedure and guidelines. About Graymont Graymont is a global leader in lime and limestone solutions. Lime is a versatile industrial chemical that is key to vital industrial processes and applications and is an essential element for addressing a multitude of complex environmental challenges. Our Role We are looking for a Plant Operator to join our hardworking team at our Kampar Limestone Processing Plant located in Perak. Reporting to the Production Superintendent, you will be working with fixed plant such as kilns and hydrators. The responsibilities include: This position is part of a rotating shift roster with an opportunity to earn overtime pay. The role will be responsible for efficient operation of the vertical kiln and associated plant & equipment to meet quality, cost and volume targets taking into account safety and environmental standards, recording accurate process information for operational and maintenance use. Additional key tasks include:

• Working in control room and monitoring process and equipment.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders such as maintenance, logistics, laboratory and engineering.
• Mobile equipment operation when needed (forklifts)
• General dispatching activities such as helping truck drivers accurately loading bulk product.
• General housekeeping duties & routine plant checks.

To be successful in this role:

• Certificate or Diploma in relevant field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (advantageous, but not essential as full in-house training will be given)
• Ability to work successfully both as an individual and as part of a team.
• Intermediate computer skills combined with verbal and written communication skills.
