1. JOB DUTIES
Develop and provide age-appropriate lesson plans on a weekly basis, ensuring they align with the required curriculum standard
Implement lesson plans, incorporating circle time and various learning centres, while adapting instructional materials for diverse learning experiences
Maintain appropriate child-to-adult ratios and diligently record attendance throughout the day to ensure the safety and well-being of all children
Motivate and stimulate children's learning abilities by creating engaging and experiential learning opportunities
Communicate with children in a friendly, age-appropriate manner, fostering a respectful and nurturing environment
Provide pastoral care and emotional support to children, creating a secure and welcoming environment for learning
Uphold the center's management guidelines, adhering to the Golden Rules for efficient operation
Develop and produce visual aids and teaching resources to enhance the learning experience
Organise learning materials and resources, using creativity and resourcefulness to engage children effectively
Assist in developing children's personal, social, and language skills, fostering well-rounded development
Encourage children's mathematical and creative development through storytelling, songs, games, drawing, and imaginative play
Foster children's curiosity and expand their knowledge through engaging educational activities
Collaborate with fellow educators, including teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff, to plan and coordinate indoor and outdoor activities
Share knowledge and insights gained with colleagues and parents, promoting open communication and collaboration
Observe, assess, and document each child's progress, utilising notes and photos as necessary to track their development
Prioritise children's optimal development, preparing them for a successful transition to primary school education
Assess the developmental needs of children and tailor instruction to meet individual learning, physical, and emotional needs
Maintain accurate and timely educational assessments and progress
portfolios for all assigned students
Attend in-service training sessions to stay updated on best practices and educational advancements
Ensure the health and safety of both children and staff during all activities, both inside and outside the centre, following licensing standards
Prepare and serve food to children during brunch, lunch, and tea break times, adhering to hygiene and safety guidelines
Stay current with changes in the curriculum and developments in best educational practices
Implement recommendations from the quality assurance process to enhance the quality of education provided
Fulfil other job duties as assigned by superiors or the company
