Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced Kindergarten Teacher to join our dynamic team at Ekhlass, an esteemed international school. As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young learners while fostering their holistic development and preparing them for their academic journey. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with the school\'s curriculum and educational standards. - Foster a love for learning by creating engaging, hands-on activities and experiences that promote intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development. - Incorporate various teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. - Introduce and reinforce foundational skills in language arts, mathematics, science and other subject areas through interactive and age-appropriate teaching methods. - Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, respected, and valued. - Set clear expectations and implement consistent behavior management strategies to promote discipline, cooperation, and mutual respect among students. - Create and maintain an organized, stimulating, and child-centered learning space that encourages exploration, creativity, and independent thinking. - Identify and address the unique learning needs and strengths of each student, differentiating instruction accordingly. - Monitor and assess student progress through ongoing observation, formative assessments, and periodic evaluations. - Provide regular feedback to students and their parents/guardians regarding academic progress, areas for improvement, and strategies for further development. - Collaborate with the school\'s support team (learning support, counselors, etc.) to provide necessary interventions and accommodations for students with diverse learning needs. - Foster strong partnerships with parents/guardians by maintaining open lines of communication and conducting regular parent-teacher conferences. - Provide updates on students\' progress, classroom activities, and school events through newsletters, emails, or parent portals. - Actively participate in school-wide events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to build collaborative relationships with colleagues and contribute to the school community. - Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and best practices in early childhood education. - Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance teaching skills, knowledge, and pedagogical approaches. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school\'s curriculum, policies, and practices through active participation in team meetings and curriculum development initiatives. Qualifications - Diploma in Early Childhood Education or any relevant field. - Teaching certification/license in Early Childhood Education or a related discipline. - Proven experience as a Kindergarten Teacher. - In-depth knowledge of early childhood development principles, best practices, and current educational trends. - Strong instructional and classroom management skills, with the ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. - Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences. - Passion for working with young children, a nurturing demeanor, and a genuine commitment to their holistic growth. - Fluency in English (additional language proficiency is a plus).
