The Kitchen Assistant / Commis Chef plays a crucial role in supporting the kitchen team by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations. This position is ideal for individuals looking to grow their culinary skills in a professional kitchen environment.

  • Able to speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a hot and busy kitchen environment.
  • Endurance to walk and stand for long hours.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Sound knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
  • Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.

Tanggungjawab
  • Ensure the standard of procedure of kitchen are followed while preparing the products.
  • Handle cooking tasks and ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Support the kitchen team in food plating and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Regularly clean kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Help with inventory control, including stock rotation, and assist in ordering supplies when necessary.
  • Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) set by KKM and Halal standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness at all times to meet these standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
