Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Kitchen Crew (Cashier-focused) to manage front counter operations while supporting basic kitchen duties. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth order-taking, accurate cash handling, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced smash burger cafe environment.

Key Responsibilities

Cashier & Front Counter Duties

- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately (dine-in, takeaway, delivery platforms)

- Operate POS system, handle cash and cashless payments correctly

- Answer customer inquiries regarding menu items, promotions, and add-ons

- Ensure orders are communicated clearly to the kitchen team

- Pack and hand over orders neatly and accurately

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of cashier and front counter area

Kitchen Support Duties

- Assist with simple food preparation (e.g. assembling burgers, prepping sauces or ingredients when required)

- Help with plating, packing, and order checking during peak hours

- Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times

- Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations

General Duties

- Work as a team to ensure smooth daily operations

- Follow cafe SOPs, hygiene, and safety guidelines

- Assist with stock checking and restocking when needed

- Any other duties assigned by supervisor/manager

Job Requirements

- Friendly personality with good communication skills

- Able to handle cash and basic POS system operations

- Willing to learn kitchen operations (training provided)

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment

- Punctual, responsible, and team-oriented

- Prior F&B or cashier experience is an advantage (but not compulsory)

Working Hours

- Shift-based (including weekends and public holidays)
