Job Description

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Assist in the preparation, cooking, and plating of food according to recipes and standards.

2. Ensure all food items are prepared hygienically and efficiently.

3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.

4. Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating stock to maintain freshness and minimize waste.

5. Support chefs or cooks in daily kitchen operations.

6. Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.

7. Assist in setup before service and cleaning after service.

8. Dispose of waste properly and keep storage areas clean and organized.

9. Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.

Working Experience

1. Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen or F&B environment (preferred).

2. Experience in food preparation, handling kitchen equipment, or assisting chefs is an advantage.

Skills Required

1. Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.

2. Understanding of hygiene, safety, and food handling standards.

3. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

4. Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.

5. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.

6. Physical stamina to handle long hours and standing work.

7. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
