Purpose of the Role/Role Overview:
To assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
environment in an industrial catering setting. Support kitchen operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality
food service for large-scale dining.
General /Role Overview:
? Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, peeling, cutting, and measuring according to recipes.
? Assist chefs and cooks in cooking and assembling meals following established food safety and quality
standards.
? Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, utensils, and dining prep areas by washing dishes,
sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
? Store and label food items correctly to ensure freshness and prevent spoilage.
? Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or damaged supplies to supervisors.
? Follow food safety and hygiene procedures in compliance with health regulations such as HACCP.
? Assist in unloading and organizing food deliveries and supplies.
? Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
? Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, stoves, and cutting tools.
? Adhere to workplace safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
? Assist the catering manager in any ad hoc or other requests

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,701.00 per month
