Prepare food items according to Kosa Coffee's standard recipes and ensure consistency in quality. Assist in food preparation, plating, and packaging for both dine-in and take-out orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and utensils. Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines to ensure food is prepared in a safe and hygienic manner. Assist in managing stock levels, rotating ingredients, and conducting daily inventory checks. Support in receiving and storing food deliveries, ensuring quality and freshness of ingredients. Communicate with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate preparation of orders. Assist in kitchen cleaning duties, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth running of kitchen operations during peak hours. Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
Requirement

Education & Experience:

No formal qualifications are required, but previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is an advantage.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, especially in food safety and cleanliness. Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Team player with good communication skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new kitchen processes. Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and carrying heavy items. Must be comfortable working in a hot kitchen environment. Flexibility to work on weekends, public holidays, and during peak hours. Able to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and split shifts.

Pay: RM9.00 - RM10.00 per hour
