Key Responsibilities

1. Food Preparation & Cooking Support

Assist in preparing ingredients (washing, cutting, portioning). Help cooks during meal preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Perform basic cooking tasks (frying, boiling, steaming) under supervision.

2. Inventory & Stock Management

Receive, label, and store incoming food supplies properly. Monitor and record stock levels, reporting low or expired items. Maintain organized and clean storage areas (fridge, freezer, dry store).

3. Kitchen & Equipment Cleaning

Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, tools, and equipment after use. Handle food waste and used oil according to procedures. Conduct weekly deep cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.

4. Canteen & Meal Service

Pack and deliver meals to factory lockers. Manage canteen utensils and ensure they're clean and available. Handle the canteen system (menu updates, staff meal orders via QR code).

5. VIP & Event Support

Prepare and set up VIP dining areas for guests and special events. Handle VIP utensils carefully and ensure they're properly stored.

6. Safety & Compliance

Follow food safety and hygiene regulations. Use PPE and cleaning agents correctly. Report hazards, pest issues, or equipment damage immediately.

7. Teamwork & Other Duties

Cooperate with kitchen staff and follow supervisor's instructions. Support events and peak periods. Participate in company ESH (Environment, Safety & Health) initiatives. Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
