Assist in the preparation of ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and marinating vegetables, meats, and other items.
Perform basic cooking tasks under supervision, such as boiling, grilling, steaming, and frying.
Provide assistance to senior chefs during service, including plating dishes and preparing sauces.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing utensils and cleaning workstations.
Actively learn new cooking techniques and recipes from senior chefs to develop culinary skills.
Help manage kitchen inventory by unpacking deliveries, storing ingredients properly, and assisting with stock rotation.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations during busy service times.
