Requirements
  • Possess a Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in kitchen operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Exhibit proficiency in kitchen management principles, including menu planning, food preparation techniques, and efficient workflow management.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of operations management, encompassing resource allocation, process optimization, and performance monitoring.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of inventory control procedures, including stock management, ordering processes, and waste reduction strategies.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety compliance standards and regulations, maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure consistent food quality and presentation across all menu items.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive staff training programs to enhance culinary skills, operational efficiency, and customer service standards.
  • Implement cost control measures to optimize kitchen expenses, minimize food waste, and improve overall profitability.
  • Communicate fluently in Mandarin to effectively interact with kitchen staff and suppliers.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient execution of tasks.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems to minimize waste and maximize cost-effectiveness.
  • Enforce strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct regular quality checks of food preparation and presentation to maintain consistent standards.
  • Assist in the training and development of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills.
  • Monitor and control kitchen costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to plan and execute menu changes, promotions, and special events.
