Culinary Leadership Opportunity - Lead, Inspire, and Create
We are seeking a passionate and driven culinary professional to lead kitchen operations and deliver exceptional dining experiences. Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations and food preparation to ensure full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
Support menu planning and development with consideration for food cost control, customer preferences, and dietary requirements.
Supervise, coach, and guide line cooks to ensure consistent execution of standardized recipes and preparation techniques.
Train, schedule, and manage kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other back-of-house personnel.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely procurement of ingredients to prevent shortages and service disruptions.
Assume kitchen leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Head Chef.
Maintain high food quality standards while minimizing waste and effectively managing food and operational costs.
Ensure all food handling, storage, and preparation comply with hygiene standards, food safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by management to support efficient kitchen and restaurant operations.
Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage, or a related discipline.
Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or managerial experience in the F&B industry is preferred.
Proficiency in both Bahasa Malaysia and English, spoken and written.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
Energetic, collaborative, and passionate about delivering high-quality food experiences.
