About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Grocery Manager to join our team at KY MAJU MART SDN.BHD. in Kuantan, Pahang. As a fulltime Grocery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our grocery department, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

What you'll be doing

Manage and supervise the grocery team, including scheduling, training and performance management Develop and implement strategies to maximise product sales and profitability Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving and stock control Ensure the grocery department maintains high standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries and complaints Analyse sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement Collaborate with the wider management team to achieve overall business objectives

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Grocery Manager or in a similar retail management role Strong knowledge of grocery operations, including inventory management, merchandising and pricing Excellent customer service skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team Proficient in data analysis and using performance metrics to drive business decisions Excellent communication and problem-solving skills A passion for the retail industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
