Job Description


You\'re expected to develop and maintain relationships with customers, identifying business opportunities, and creating technical proposals. Additionally, the senior sales engineer is responsible for staying up-to-date with industry trends, conducting product demonstrations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

  • You\'ll be operating independently in Sarawak region to provide solutions for customers\' automation needs.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and identifying business opportunities.
  • Creating technical proposals and ensuring that they align with the customers\' needs.
  • Conducting product demonstrations and delivering technical presentations to customers and prospects.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering and project management teams, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Supporting the sales team in negotiations and closing deals.
  • Creating and maintaining sales reports and forecasts to track sales performance.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets and growth objectives.

  • Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in sales, engineering, or a related field, with a proven track record of successful sales and customer relationship management.
  • Deep knowledge of industrial automation products and solutions, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and MES software.
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose customized solutions.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to create and execute sales strategies that achieve sales targets.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically as required by the role.
