Job Summary

Responsible for conducting thorough analysis and profiling of social media platforms to extract valuable insights and support various investigative efforts. The primary purpose of this position is to contribute to the identification, monitoring, and analysis of profiling the suspect, preparing the report, ready for expert witness for court proceedings, and aiding in the resolution of legal, security, or organizational concerns.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

1) Social Media Profiling

Conduct comprehensive profiling of individuals and entities on social media platforms. Analyze online behaviours, affiliations and potential risks associated with specific profiles.
2) Data Analysis and Monitoring

Utilize advanced analytical techniques to monitor and analyze social media data for investigative purposes. Identify patterns, trends and anomalies relevant to ongoing investigations.
3) Suspect Identification

Contribute to the identification of suspects through analysis of social media activities and connections. Utilize Open Source Techniques for suspect identifications.
4) Report Preparation

Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings from social media investigations, ensuring clarity and relevance for legal and organizational purposes.
5) Expert Witness Preparation

Compile and organize evidence and insights to serve as an expert witness during court proceedings. Ensure that all investigative activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
6) Collaboration with Legal and Security Teams

Work closely with legal and security teams to align social media investigation findings with legal requirements and organizational objectives.
7) Technology Utilization

Effectively use advanced social media analytics tools/source code in-depth analysis and digital forensics technologies to enhance the depth and accuracy of investigations.
Ideal Candidate Requirements

Education & Qualifications

Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Criminology or other related disciplines with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 from a reputable University/College.
Experience

Minimum 0 to 3 years of working experience in a similar environment. Experience in a network investigation or cybersecurity environment is an added advantage. Familiar with social media platforms. Problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking. Multi-task, work independently, and work under pressure with minimum supervision
Technical & Functional Skills

Proficiency in IT security project management. Advanced troubleshooting skills in IT security contexts. Knowledge of Best Practice IT security strategies. Familiarity with IT security technologies and solutions. Ability to analyse and interpret security trends and patterns. Understanding of network security protocols and technologies. Competence in implementing and maintaining IT security infrastructure. Skill in translating technical discussions into business terms. Experience with IT security vendor management. Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new IT security technologies.
