Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

? Ensure recoverability and workability of DR IT system infrastructure in accordance with the

defined recovery strategy.

? Assist to collate and update recovery plans and procedures for review and approval.

? Assist to Develop and improve DR testing strategy

? Assist to plan, coordinate and execute mandatory/ adhoc DR testing.

? Assist to improve and rectify any system or process shortcoming identified during testing.

? Ensure DR Plan development is in line with the bank recovery strategy requirement.

? Participate and assist in Risk Assessment and Business Impact Analysis review.

? Assist to collate and recovery strategy information for review and documentation.

? Assist to update and maintain plan to ensure currency.

? Develop, review and approve DR project involvement and costing model

? Participate and assist to conduct and document recovery requirements analysis.

? Assist to document preliminary plan and cost procedures.

? Ensure timely delivery and completion of mandated DR activity.

? Advance planning and scheduling.

? Review activity plan to determine resource requirements.

? Prepare and update activity plan for review.

? Conduct briefing session to team members

? Raise activity change and obtain relevant approvals.

? Manage and coordinate execution.

? Prepare activity report

Key Outcomes / Deliverables

? Enable business unit to continue to support critical business functions/ operations in the event of

disaster declaration.

? Ensure documented Plan is up to-date and current and is reflective of the bank's overall recovery

strategy.

? Ensure on time DR project deliverables that meet client requirement and expectation.

? Ensure completion of mandatory activity in a timely and coordinated manner

Ideal Candidate Requirements

? Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

? 3 to 5 year's Familiar with BCM and DR in financial industry

? DRI (Disaster Recovery Institute) certification is preferrable

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
