About the role

As a Lab Technician, your primary responsibility will be to perform various laboratory tests and analyses. You will be involved in conducting physical and chemical testing of samples, following specific testing methods and protocols. This role is based at Kerry Site in Tampoi, Johor

Key responsibilities

• To obtain finished products samples according to sampling plan
• To perform physical & chemical testing according to testing methods
• Report to the Quality Assurance Executive if the test results is out of specification
• Report testing results to production supervisor for immediate action taken.
• To perform daily calibration of required equipments in physical lab.
• Prepare related chemical solution according to working instruction
• Maintain the cleanliness of work station and sampling points
• Maintain the retained samples room is clean and organize at all time
• To perform any task that assigned by superior from time to time.

Qualifications and skills

• Diploma in Food Science or Biotechnology or its equivalent/ minimum SPM with 5 years working experience in food industry related to quality assurance, quality control, analytical testing
• Good communication, writing and presentation in English & collaboration skills
• Meticulous and pays attention to details
• Competent in basic Microsoft Office
• The ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
• Candidate must be wiling to work in rotating shifts
