Job Description

(A) Responsibilities:

Perform chemical analysis and testing for plating solutions, ensuring compliance with specifications. Monitor, record and adjust chemical concentrations in plating baths as required. Handle lab equipment, ensure proper calibration, and maintain accurate records. Prepare chemicals for analysis and maintain proper label. Assist in troubleshooting plating defects and support process improvement activities. Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations when handling chemicals. Assist to monitor, record and adjust chemical in maintaining Scheduled Waste, Waste Water Treatment Plant and Scrubber. Perform other duties as assigned by Plating Engineer in all plating activities during production, maintenance and other duties required to support Plating Engineer. To clean and maintain work area and all lab equipment To ensure that overall tasks assigned are carried out professionally, ethically and in a timely manner

(B) Qualifications

Experience in laboratory work, particularly in chemical testing, titration, or plating processes. [Optional] A diploma or certificate in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.

(C) Experience

At least 1 - 2 year(s) of working experience in the chemical industry will be an advantage. Fresh graduates with a keen interest in the role are encouraged to apply.

(D) Knowledge and physical requirement

Knowledge of plating processes (e.g., immersion tin, nickel, or gold plating) is an advantage. Knowledge of chemical analysis

is required

such as titration, UV-Vis, and chemical analysis related. Physically able to handle tasks that involve working with plating tanks.

(E) Special Skills:

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with all levels of the organization. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
