is responsible for performing quality control testing on concrete and related materials, both in the laboratory and at construction sites. The Lab technician ensures that all tests comply with industry standards and client specifications and helps maintain consistent concrete quality.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform standard tests on raw materials and concrete, including slump tests, compressive strength tests, and cube preparation.
Conduct on-site sampling, slump testing, and casting of concrete cubes, ensuring proper transport of samples to the laboratory.
Calibrate and maintain testing equipment while upholding safety and cleanliness standards in both lab and field.
Prepare accurate testing records, reports, and Google Drive summaries; report any non-conformances promptly.
Coordinate with site teams and support QA/QC and R&D activities for quality assurance and concrete mix improvements.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a SPM or equivalent qualifications.
Capable of performing physical testing tasks using basic lab and field equipment (e.g., slump cone, compression machine).
Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
Willing to travel to project sites and work in outdoor conditions. Own transport and a valid driving license are an advantage.
