Job Responsibilities

Provide medical laboratory screening and diagnostic reports and services by following established specimen preparation procedures; implementing analytical procedures; evaluating laboratory information; reporting results according to protocols mandated QMS Responsible for controlling and monitoring the stock for test kits Maintain quality results by running standards and controls, verifying equipment function through routine equipment maintenance and advanced trouble shooting; calibrating equipment utilizing approved testing procedures; monitoring quality control measures and protocols Serve as technical resource by participating in staff training; answering questions of other professionals; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations Contribute to a safe and secure environment for the operation team by following established standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations & waste management SOPs Assist in checking and verifying the reports before/after the validation before sending/faxing to customer, keeping patient identities confidential Prepare monthly stock take activity sheet to Accounts Department Maintain samples within sample retention period Prepare monthly KPI report, QC or any records requested by Management

Requirements:

Candidates must possess at least a diploma/degree in Biotechnology, Medical Lab Technology, Biomedical Science or any equivalent science courses Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply Knowledge in genomics, DNA diagnostic tests would be a strong advantage Able to work on a rotational shift basis as this is a laboratory setting To be meticulous, detail-oriented and attentive to details in the role & Lab operations Team-player with good interpersonal skills Able to commute to work in Wisma LYL, Petaling Jaya
Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
